LIMA & HUARAZ: CHAVIN AND THE CORDILLERA HUAYHUASH

6 days / 5 nights

First Day:

4:00p.m.:  Arraival to the Airport, and we will take you to the Hotel***

Second Day: Ancestral, Colonial & Contemporary Lima

10:30a.m.: Breakfast, our first point will be the Huaca Pucllana, then the Promenade of Republic, San Martin Square and the Main Square, with their different buildings: Government Palace, Archibishop´s Palace, the Cathedral Basílica and the Municipal Palace also we will enter to the Museum of the Banco Central de Reserva, Convent of Saint Francis and its Catacombs. We will continue visiting The Olive Grove of San Isidro, Miraflores and Larco Mar, distinctive tourist centre of contemporary Lima, by the night we will take you to the bus stop for going to Huaraz city by bus (6 hrs).

Third Day: Chavin de Huantar & Callejon de Conchucos (full day)

6:00  a.m.: Arraival to Huaraz, and we will take you to the Hotel

7:30  a.m.: Breakfast

9:30 a.m.: During this first route we will visit mining towns as Recuay, Ticapampa, Catac, the Lagoon of Querococha, also, the Tunnel of Kawuish, that crosses the White Mountain Range, uniting the Callejón de Huaylas Valley with the Callejón de Conchucos Valley, Machac towns, lunch for after visiting the Archaeological Complex of Chavín de Huantar, in this place we will be able to appreciate the impressive Lanzon Monolithic, the Gallery of the Labyrinths and the Stone Heads. Return to our hotel in Huaraz.
